Summer School Begins Next MonthPosted on 05/13/2021For all of our scholars, the school year came to an abrupt and unexpected end when their school closed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Due to the extended time that our scholars spent on virtual learning this past school year, our scholars must contend with what is being called the “coronavirus slide,” which might result in a loss in learning. The Cartwright School District is proud to offer in-person summer school for four weeks beginning on June 1, 2021, through June 25, 2021, to support our scholars who need the extra help.
Summer School is available for any student enrolled in our district entering grades K-8. By steadily learning and challenging our scholars throughout the summer, their critical thinking skills, creativity, focus, and work ethic will be at the top of its game come school time in August. If you’re a parent who is interested in enrolling in summer school, please call your school directly and they will facilitate your request. We look forward to seeing our scholars this summer!
