Kindergarten
Kindergarten is the foundation for a child's education. Your child must be enrolled at the beginning of the school year.
Kindergarten Objectives:
Math:
- Count in sequence and count objects.
- Compare numbers.
- Understand basic addition and subtraction.
- Identify, describe, create, compare, and analyze shapes.
Reading:
- Solidify knowledge of the alphabet.
- Learn letter sounds to begin reading and creating words.
- Recognize upper and lowercase letters and write them.
- Recognize common sight words.
- Read a Kindergarten-level book by the end of the year.
