Kindergarten
Kindergarten is the foundation for a child's education. Your child must be enrolled at the beginning of the school year. Kindergarten students will learn a lot during their first year in school. Our kindergartners will learn how to count in sequence, count objects, compare numbers, and understand basic addition and subtraction. Our kindergarten students will also be able to identify, describe, create, compare and analyze shapes. In reading, students will solidify the alphabet and begin to learn the sounds that letters make in order to begin reading and creating words. Our kindergartners will be able to recognize upper and lower case letters and be able to write the letters. By the end of the year, they should be able to recognize many common sight words and be able to read a Kindergarten level book.
