How to Enroll
If you do not live in the Cartwright School District boundaries, please complete the Open Enrollment application (English) or (Espanol), and email to firstname.lastname@example.org. To find out if you live in the Cartwright School District boundary, please use this link: https://app.guidek12.
If you do live in the Cartwright School District boundaries, complete the Express Enrollment PDF in English or Spanish and email it to email@example.com or print the packet and bring it to your school. The fillable forms work best downloaded and opened with a PDF Reader like Adobe Acrobat™. Please sign and date the forms when you bring the packet to school. The Cartwright School District is an open-enrollment district. Families residing outside of The Cartwright School District may apply at any time during the year at any of our campuses.
Please keep in mind that you may have to fill out additional documents when you go to your designated school and drop off your packet. You will need to bring the following documents with you. We will make copies of them and return the originals to you. Here is what you will need:
- A certified copy of your child's birth certificate or a baptismal certificate or an application for a Social Security number
- Your child's immunization record
- Report card/withdrawal slip from the previous school
- Proof of residence - (required forms listed below):

Preschool RegistrationIf you are interested in registering your child for our Public School Pre-K program, please call your school or 623-691-4000 and you will be directed properly.

Our district proudly utilizes an Early Entrance Kindergarten Readiness Screening Protocol for children who are not 5 years of age by September 1 but turn 5 before December 31st of the current school year and as long as they are enrolled by Labor Day.
