Dear G. Frank Davidson Families,
My name is D.D. Carr and I have the privilege of being the principal of G. Frank Davidson Elementary. I began my career in education in 1999 and have enjoyed serving children and families within Arizona through several roles including classroom teacher, after school coordinator, student services specialist, 21st Century project director, assistant principal and principal. I greatly value education and received my Bachelor of Science from New Mexico State University and my Masters of Education from Arizona State University. As the proud parent of five amazing children that are my guiding force as I strive to provide the highest level of educational services for the children and families I serve. Their unique needs have allowed me the ability to gain skills, resources, and understanding to support families.
G. Frank Davidson Elementary is a PBIS school that provides a high quality kindergarten through sixth grade learning experience, emphasizing the development of character and academics at the core of each child's education. Our G. Frank Davidson motto states, dragons will learn, achieve, succeed! The idea is not only being successful for today but for our students’ future success as we support them as a team. I believe this difference is made in our community and in partnership with our families. I encourage students, families, and community members to get involved. I would love to connect with you. I believe in our school, our community, and our families. Together we can be the difference.
