Dear Parents and Guardians,

I hope this letter finds you well and enjoying a fantastic summer with your families. My name is Mike Clark, and I am the proud principal of G. Frank Davidson Elementary School. I am returning for my second year here at Davidson! I am incredibly excited to embark on this journey with you and your children as we prepare for an amazing school year ahead.

Education has been my passion since 2007, and I bring with me a wealth of experience in various roles within the educational field, including classroom teaching, instructional coaching, and school leadership. As a parent myself, I understand the significance of fostering strong partnerships between home and school. Together, we can ensure that every child at G. Frank Davidson Elementary has the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Attendance is crucial to your child's success. Regular attendance ensures that students do not miss out on valuable learning experiences and opportunities to connect with their peers. I encourage you to prioritize attendance and notify us promptly of any absences.

Communication is key to our collective success. I am committed to maintaining open lines of communication with you throughout the school year. Whether through newsletters, emails, phone calls, or face-to-face meetings, I am here to listen to your feedback, address any concerns, and celebrate our successes together. We will be utilizing a new platform this school year called Parent Square (once this is set up it will replace Class Dojo) Please be on the lookout for more information.
