Estrella Student wins Achieve3000 AwardPosted on 01/28/2020During the Holidays when students are off and eagerly awaiting Santa, presents and some much needed break time, Estrella 8th grader Jennifer Tarango went to work and it paid off big time! Last week, she received her prize and certificate for winning Achieve3000's Make the Break Contest. In her picture, she is holding her brand new Sony headphones - a gift for all her hard work.
Jennifer was required to successfully complete not one but five Achieve3000 assignments over the Holiday break in order to be entered in the contest, however, she doubled that amount! The best part? She is the only student in Arizona to win! She is involved in dance club and she is considered a positive roll model for all students. She will be receiving Cartwright's Award of Excellence on February 13th. Congrats Jennifer!
