The Cartwright School District remains committed to providing healthy foods to students across all of its schools. The Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Program has not been cancelled, and the district has no plans to do so.
Funding for the program is allocated across two periods during the school year: July 1, 2026 to Sept. 30, 2026 and Oct. 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027.
The district follows all grant-related guidelines, including mandatory training and reporting requirements. For more information, refer to the letter from the Arizona Department of Education.
