Students from Cartwright School District enjoyed a special shopping experience when they visited a local shoe store to pick out brand-new shoes for the school year.

Students from Desert Sands Middle School Academy of Mass Communications and Journalism and Glenn L. Downs, A Social Sciences Academy met with store representatives and community volunteers, who helped them select and try on their favorite pairs. From dinosaur designs to sparkly styles, students had fun choosing shoes that matched their personalities and style.

This special experience was made possible through the generosity of Skechers, Share the Spirit Foundation, and Southwest Gas, whose support helped students start the school year with confidence and a new pair of shoes.
