The first day of school is always a special moment filled with excitement, anticipation, and new beginnings. Across Cartwright Elementary School District, students, families, staff, and community partners came together to celebrate the start of the 2026–2027 school year and welcome students back to campus.

From the moment students arrived, schools were filled with smiles, encouraging words, and the excitement of reconnecting with friends, meeting teachers, and beginning another year of learning and growth. Principals, teachers, staff members, and district leaders were on hand to help create a welcoming and positive start for all students.

A special thank you goes out to our dedicated families, school staff, Governing Board members, district leadership, and community partners who helped make the first day of school memorable for our students. Your support and enthusiasm play an important role in creating a strong foundation for student success.
