At Cartwright School District No. 83, we are committed to ensuring every student has access to the best possible learning environment. As our community grows and shifts, we occasionally need to review our school attendance boundaries to maintain balanced enrollment and high-quality education for all students.

We value the input of our families and community members in this process. Therefore, the Governing Board will be holding a public hearing to discuss potential changes to school attendance areas.

What: Public Hearing to Discuss Possible School Attendance Area Boundary Changes

When: March 18, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.

Where: Cartwright School District No. 83 District Office

This hearing is being held pursuant to A.R.S. 15-341.

What is Being Discussed?

The primary focus of this hearing is to discuss proposed boundary adjustments that would affect Manuel “Lito” Pena Elementary and G. Frank Davidson Elementary.

Specifically, the district is considering changing the attendance boundaries for three residential communities. The proposal under consideration would move the following addresses from the Manuel “Lito” Pena Elementary attendance area to the G. Frank Davidson Elementary attendance area:

  • Morada Rise: 6751 W. Indian School Road

  • Solara Apartments: 7007 W. Indian School Road

  • The Square Apartments: 7151 W Indian School Road
