Cartwright School District Building

The Cartwright Elementary School District maintains a firm commitment to fiscal responsibility, accuracy, and full transparency in managing public resources. In response to recent misleading and false social media posts concerning consultant contracts, the district wants to clarify how these routine professional services are structured and compensated.

Facts Regarding Consultant Compensation

●        Total Annual Limit: Contrary to online claims, consultants do not receive a separate $49,000 retainer in addition to monthly payments. Instead, their contract establishes a maximum annual limit of $49,000 for the entire fiscal year.

●        Monthly Payment Schedule: Payment for services rendered will be distributed in monthly installments, with the total annual compensation not exceeding $49,000.
