Acceptable Attire

Desert Sands spirit shirts (sold in our office)

Solid color polos
-
Pants, skirts, and shorts may be plain: black, blue, gray, khaki, or denim

Skirts and shorts, 3 inches above the knee or longer

Shoes must be closed toe and must meet the PE safety requirements

School appropriate beanies/hoods/caps may be worn outside only
-
School appropriate sweaters may be worn over uniform shirts
Not Acceptable
-
No crop tops, spaghetti straps, or tops showing a midriff
-
No opened toed shoes (sandals, slides, etc)
-
No leggings/yoga pants/spandex

No Pajamas, sleepwear or slippers

No athletic wear (except during PE)

No display of undergarments of any kind

Sagging is not allowed

No rips or holes in clothing (no holes in jeans)

No headwear on inside the classroom or building

No bandanas (bandanas cannot be worn or brought to school for any reason)

No writing on any part of the body

No jewelry/attire with logos or patterns that depict illegal, offensive, or gang related references
Items that endanger the health, safety and welfare of an orderly school environment are prohibited.
*The school administration has the right to change, add, or modify the dress code policy at any time.
Student ID
Student IDs are required at all times (for transportation, library materials, reward activities, etc). One ID will be provided. Replacement IDs will be available at a cost. IDs must be worn on a lanyard and visible at all times. IDs may not be altered.
