Our STEM elective students participated in a Gallery Walk featuring STEM-related images and topics! Students explored the different visuals, made observations, and engaged in conversations as they moved around the room.

Looking Back on Our First Friday! 💜 Last Friday was our first Friday back on campus as we returned to a Monday–Friday school week all year long! 🎉 Our Stars were excited to be back! 🚌 From getting off the buses to settling into classrooms and getting right to work, our students finished the first week strong! 📚✨ Remember, Fridays are Early Release at 1:00 PM. ⏰ Let’s make it another great week! ⭐

We are off to a great start at Estrella Middle School College & Career Prep! 💜⭐ Our Stars have had an amazing first two days of school. It has been so much fun seeing our student scholars back on campus, learning, making new friends, and having a great time. A few reminders for our families: ⭐ Gates open at 7:45 AM ⭐ School starts at 8:30 AM ⭐ Monday–Thursday dismissal is at 3:00 PM ⭐ Friday dismissal is at 1:00 PM ⭐ Please pick up your child before the last 30 minutes of the school day if they need to leave early. Hello Estrella Middle School College and Career Prep Parents, It was great to meet many of you and our student scholars last week at Meet the Teacher night. Tomorrow, Tuesday, August 4, is the first day of the 2026-2027 school year. All of the Estrella Middle School College and Career Prep teachers and staff are excited to welcome all 7th and 8th graders back to school. Campus gates will open at 7:45 AM. Students who arrive early will get breakfast. Students should go to the cafeteria for free breakfast and to get their homeroom information. Class starts at 8:30 AM. School ends at 3:00 PM. Our teachers returned to prepare for an amazing school year! 💜⭐ Throughout the week, we collaborated, learned, and planned as we revisited our mission and vision and participated in professional development focused on PBIS, TopScore, AVID, and ELD—all with one goal in mind: ensuring our students are successful. We also had the opportunity to attend the Cartwright Welcome Back Conference, where we gained new ideas and inspiration to better serve our students.
