To celebrate the first day of Chinese New Year, students created traditional good-luck scrolls featuring the zodiac character to welcome the new year with positivity and fortune.
These bright, meaningful scrolls can be seen all throughout campus, adding color, culture, and celebration to our school community.
We love seeing students learn about and honor traditions from around the world. What a fun and festive way to kick off the new year! 🐉✨

As we continue to prioritize the academic growth and well-being of our students, we want to share an important update regarding our district's schedule. After careful consideration and Governing Board approval, we will be transitioning back to a traditional 5-day school week beginning in the 2026/2027 school year.
We understand that consistency is vital for families planning their schedules. Please note that for the remainder of the current 2025/2026 school year, there will be no changes. We will finish this academic year on our existing 4-day schedule, with classes held Monday through Thursday.
What to Expect
We are dedicated to making this transition as smooth as possible for all families. Over the coming months, we will be working behind the scenes to adjust bus routes, meal services, and staffing schedules to support a full week of operations starting in August 2026.
We believe this move will strengthen our community and offer our students the robust support system they need to thrive. We are here to answer your questions and support you through this change. Thank you for your continued partnership in making our schools a welcoming place for everyone to learn and grow.

On February 5th, we turned back the clock—teachers dressed (and acted!) like they were 100 years old, and the students had an absolute blast celebrating right along with them. The year is flying by… can you believe we’re already 100 days in? So much laughter, excitement, and fun celebrating 100 days of learning together!✨

New Clothing Closet Opens for Students Thanks to BHHS Legacy Foundation!
We are thrilled to announce a wonderful new resource for our students, made possible by the incredible generosity of the BHHS Legacy Foundation. The foundation has created and stocked a new clothing closet to support students and their families within our community.
This new resource is located at the Cartwright Family Center, where the foundation has transformed a classroom into a welcoming space for students. The closet is filled with a wide variety of essential items, including new school uniforms, backpacks, books, jackets, and many other supplies to help students succeed. This initiative directly supports our commitment to ensuring every child has what they need for a positive and productive school year.
To celebrate this significant contribution, we held a special ribbon-cutting ceremony at the center. We were honored to welcome several representatives from the BHHS Legacy Foundation, who have been instrumental in bringing this project to life. Their dedication to our students is truly inspiring.
We would also like to extend our gratitude to Assistant Superintendent of Education Services, Marco Ruiz, and Director of Safe Schools, Dr. Perez, for attending the ceremony and showing their support for this important community partnership.
The establishment of this clothing closet is a powerful example of what we can achieve when we work together. We are deeply grateful to the BHHS Legacy Foundation and everyone involved for their commitment to our students. This resource will have a lasting, positive impact on our school community for years to come.

The squad showed up with speed, smiles, and nonstop energy. The photos say it all : fun, teamwork, and memories made on and off the track. Proud of every single athlete out there today!
