🎨 Makerspace Club is bringing imagination to life! Students are exploring entrepreneurship by building their own businesses while 4-6th are tapping into their artistic sides to create incredible Cubism-inspired masks with SAWS! 🎭💼
We love seeing our students take risks, explore new ideas, and discover talents beyond the classroom!

Families and educators filled the Cartwright Training Center this morning for a Teacher-Parent Workshop centered on early childhood activities and kindergarten readiness.
Governing Board President Lydia Hernandez, board member Denice Garcia, and Acting Superintendent Dr. Alfredo Barrantes welcomed families and took part in the classroom activities.
This week, our students are discovering dragon fruit, a vibrant and delicious fruit native to Central America and Mexico, now enjoyed around the world!
Through this weekly experience, students will explore fruits from different countries, learn about their origins and cultures, and discover new flavors while building healthy eating habits.
At Cartwright, learning goes beyond the classroom...sometimes, it starts with a bite!

On September 11th, the Phoenix Zoo 🦁🐯🐱paid a visit to our 6th graders in the Atkinson Library!! Our students got to meet and learn about some of the Sonoran Desert's 🏜️ most popular wildlife: the Desert Tortoise, the Rabbit, or the Mouse. Their ultimate task was to decide which of the animals was the "Ultimate Desert Champion!!" 🐭🐰🐢
