Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! We have some exciting changes in store, and we’re eager to share them with you. One big update you’ll notice is our new logo! Estrella has been rebranded, and we’re now Estrella Middle School College and Career Prep. This reflects our continued commitment to preparing our students not just for middle school, but for success in high school and beyond. We’ll continue to hold our scholars to high standards and are excited to bring even more AVID experiences to our school. AVID helps students prepare for high school and future opportunities, and we’re proud to be an AVID-certified school.

This year, we’re also making some adjustments to our schedules. We won’t be working in teaching teams of four, as we’ve made this change to better meet the unique needs of our students. It may feel a little different at first, but we’re confident that it will quickly become easy to follow.

We’re also thrilled to introduce you to Ms. Sonally Castro, our new parent coordinator! She’ll be available to support you on Mondays and Tuesdays.
