Dear Longhorn School Families,
Welcome to the 2024 - 2025 school year! The excitement to welcome everyone back never stops. It is a blessing to continue as principal of this amazing school. I hope you are enjoying a wonderful summer. I look forward to working with you and your children to ensure the success and well being of ALL of our scholars. We will continue to focus on living our school mission: Together, we are promoting learning for ALL through social emotional learning, increasing academic achievement, and family and community partnerships.

What are the learning hours?
Our school day is 7:45 a.m.-2:45 p.m, Monday-Thursday.
Will students be wearing uniforms?
Yes, we are a uniform school.
Tops: Collared shirts or t-shirts with short or long sleeves with no logos, no stripes or designs and school spirit shirts.
Colors: White, Light Blue, Navy Blue, Dark Green, and Red
Bottoms: Uniform bottoms in one solid color. Pants, sweatpants, shorts, jumpers, skirts, or skorts (no stripes or designs).
Colors: Navy Blue, Black or Khaki or Jeans. Jeans may not be ripped
Shoes: Closed shoes are to be worn for any type of physical activity. Crocs may be worn (not for PE).
I eagerly look forward to greeting students and families during Meet the Teacher Night. It remains an honor and privilege to serve as your principal. Together, I know we will make this school year one of growth and achievement for all children.
