I am entering my fifteenth year in education and fifth year as a principal. I served four years as a middle school principal and three years as an assistant principal in the Fowler Elementary School District, prior to that, seven years as a middle school math teacher. I earned my bachelor of arts degree in elementary education from the Minnesota State University-Mankato and my master’s degree in educational leadership from University of Texas-Arlington. I enjoy Phoenix and the surrounding areas as there are many things to do here, such as concerts, sports, hunting, camping, and hiking. I also spend time traveling with family and friends when possible.

Here at Cartwright School, we are focused on ensuring that scholars are in a safe and caring learning environment and acquire skills required for successful high school experience that will lead to a promising career. In addition, we provide high-quality programs in fine arts, music, robotics, and fitness, as well as a wide range of extracurricular activities designed to enrich your child’s education through our 21st Century Grant. We believe in educating the whole child and enhancing all talents in and out of the classroom. We provide sports programs that are competitive and display sportsmanship at all times.
