Palm Lane Principal, Davidson Teacher and IT Technician Win Top Annual Honors

Major league applause for Palm Lane Principal Scott Nigh, Davidson second grade teacher Rosa Falcon and IT technician Stephanie Castro for capturing top honors in a special partnership between the district and the Milwaukee Brewers!

Scott was named MVP Principal of the Year, while Rosa was this year’s Teacher of the Year and Stephanie won the ESP Employee of the Year.

The three were honored Sunday, March 24 at American Family Fields of Phoenix before the Milwaukee Brewers spring training game against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

These are the district’s most prestigious honors! They recognize outstanding Cartwright employees who are recognized for being dependable, flexible, reliable and resourceful.  It helps that they are respected and admired by their peers not only in their school, but throughout the district.

Cartwright principals selected Scott Nigh for the MVP Principal of the Year Award by voting on a number of criteria. Rosa and Stephanie were chosen among monthly teacher and ESP honorees recognized during this school year.

Congratulations to Scott, Rosa and Stephanie! They truly deserved these honors, and everyone throughout Cartwright and Maryvale salutes them!
