Cartwright School District Educational Plan

Click here for Grade Level Packets

The Cartwright School District is committed to ensuring the safety of each student and community member during this pandemic. We want to support our students with educational resources for them to access from home.  The Educational Services Department has been working diligently to ensure we begin to support our students academically as we move forward. Our education plan rollout is a 3 phase plan.

Phase 1 (March 16th - March 27th)

  • By Tuesday, March 17th we had researched several online programs for our students and posted them on the Website, Twitter, and Facebook.
  • We uploaded several resources into the CLEVER application for our students to have access to programs through one login for easy access.

Phase 2 (March 30th - April 10th) Parents we are expecting packets to be delivered to your homes starting Friday March 27th.
  • PreK-8th grade packets will be mailed for each student. These packets hold two (2) weeks worth of work for our students to be able to do at home.
  • Packets will be sent home using the addresses we have on file. Your school Administrator will contact families whose packets are returned to us by the post office, to ensure our students get their packets.

Phase 3 (April 14th - May 20th) Virtual/Online learning. This phase will be implemented only if school closure is extended past April 10.
  • We will begin to help our community with access to COX WiFi, which will be offered for free for the first 2 months, and then at a reduced rate of under ten dollars a month. Cox has also turned on multiple hotspots for the community, click here to find a hotspot near you using their interactive map.

  • Every staff member who typically works with students during "normal" school hours will support this plan for our students from the safety of their home.

Below you will find at-home learning packets for each individual grade-level.  As previously mentioned, each packet (attachment) is intended to be work for two (2) weeks.

*(Note: You are not required to print packets. The USPS will begin delivering packets starting Friday, March 27th.)
